Our piece of paradise nestled in the Gatineau Hills within the National Capital Region
Come stay at our family owned cottage, situated right on the Gatineau River.

Just 2 min from the picture perfect village of Wakefield, Where you can walk and enjoy the artist’s boutiques, shops and cafes along the Gatineau River.

Just 20 minutes from downtown Ottawa our cottage is one of the only ones located right on the water!

In the summer, enjoy swimming, boating or fishing or simply relax on the dock and watch the ducks swim by.  

Get an evening bonfire going or cook up a great dinner on our BBQ right on the deck overlooking the water. Or make use of our fully equipped bright open kitchen with a sliding door out to the deck.

You can also enjoy your coffee or watch the sunset on one of our 2 decks.

The view is also enjoyed from the inside through our four skylights which allow the moon and stars to shine in over the bedrooms, living room and over the bathtub.

MY favorite spot is the bay window  where I love to sit and watch the water flow by, it is so relaxing and it is so close it feels like you are right on the water !
In the winter, enjoy cross-country skiing, skiing or snowshoeing. Or just Cozy up in front of our fire place with a glass of wine and enjoy the peace and quiet.

You will find a number of things to do such as: Dining, shopping, arts, culture, health and wellness. Live entertainment can be found at the Black Sheep Inn and spa treatments at the Mill!

There is a farmers market, a full grocery store, a hardware store, and LCBO.

Skiers/ golfers: Vorlage is right in Wakefield.  Edelweiss, Mont Cascades, Larrimac or camp fortune – are all within 15-minute drive.
Come and relax and enjoy our little home away from home, we recently renovated and painted 
But kept the old charm, and real hardwood floors throughout. 

Both bedrooms have new queensize mattresses!
